Representatives of Basel's independent dance and theatre scene meet regularly at the Stammtisch Freie Szene to discuss current cultural policy issues. The artists from the kunst+care initiative will be guests on 17 January:

"The supposedly self-sufficient artistic genius, freed from all social responsibilities, is an outdated patriarchal idea that serves power mechanisms and reproduces exploitative conditions. Enough of this. kunst+care is a growing network of people from the arts. We want to start from an artist's vow that builds on the basis of care giving and caring. We publicise our fears, needs and resources, form empowering alliances and join forces to bring about necessary changes in the cultural sector. As part of the t.
